I usually only write about single ideas if they are not well known or understood in our present zeitgeist and need further exposure and consideration. There are infinitely many ideas floating around the Internet already, and the thing is, most single ideas that human beings can have have already been documented thousands of years ago. In most cases, however, I will not start writing if I only have one interesting idea. I never write just for the sake of writing I always write because I already know what I want to express, and I just need to formulate it into words. ![]() This goes back to my post "Write only when you're inspired": I write nothing until I feel inspired to do so, until I feel the ideas vividly enough that they provide me with energy, when they make a deep enough impression on me that I am likewise compelled to press them into the keyboard. I've written a few of these posts by now (LiveJournal tells me that I have posted 1,772 of them), so there is a sort of established thought process that informs most of these posts, and although I don't get many comments here, I know there are some people who actually read what I write, so lest anyone ever wonder what my thinking usually is when I sit down to write, I will take a moment to reflect.īefore anything else, I wait until I become sufficiently inspired by some idea or combination of ideas that I feel the urge to write them out. I don't imagine that many people will really care, but in case anyone ever wonders whether I have a sort of process for writing the entries that fill this little blog, well, I don't have a fixed process, but there are things which usually happen for most entries. ![]()
